The Studio Loft is a delicate and sophisticated residence apartment conversion located in Chelsea neighborhood, NYC. The concept of the interior design is based on reusing the existing industrial features of the apartment and combining them with clear geometry of new and modern material palette.
Raw and honest materials are used like iron, concrete, and wood to create an airy, minimalist and elegant living space. A different variety of assortment of woods, textures, and metal finishes visually impacts a warm and clean habitable space.
Special Approach
The residence contains all elements of a traditional loft residence. Adorned with an oversized central space, containing a kitchen, dining room, and living room, as well as two bedrooms with separate bathrooms. A large skylight shines down from the ceiling, allowing natural daylight to come through. The owner’s collection of art, centralized with the masterpiece is displayed near the large window surrounded by vintage furniture. Despite using minimum walls, all the necessary functional zones have been created in one single space. The minimalist interior, with the selection of fine vintage and modern furniture, harmonizes with large windows and raw finishes. The color palette consists primarily of warm gray tones and black, complemented with the wooden pattern.
